Booking policy

By booking with Divine Shine Beauty you agree and accept the booking policy, lateness policy and cancellation policy.

​Please ensure you complete the form sent to you following booking atleast 24 hours prior to your appointment as this contains important information needed by me such as your address/venue and contact details. 


All appointments are very important to me. This is time I’ve set aside just for you and I don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity to receive services. Please understand that I’m committed to offering you the highest possible level of service during your appointments with me. With this in mind, I have the following booking, lateness and cancellation policies to ensure fairness to all clients.

I require a 50% booking fee deposit to secure your appointment. If you must cancel or rebook your appointment, I respectfully request at least 24 hours notice. 


If you cancel your appointment without giving at least 24 hours' notice prior to your appointment this will result in non-refund and non-transfer of the booking fee deposit, should you wish to rebook a new booking will need to be set up. Should you wish to cancel your appointment up to 24 hours prior, you are able to reschedule or receive a refund of your booking fee deposit. 


Any “no shows” will be charged 100% of the service amount. Depending on the services booked, in the case of multiple services at a single appointment, a cancellation without 24-hour notice will result in a charge of 100% of the primary service amount and 50% of any additional service amount. Booking fees, cancellation fee and any service fees will be charged to your credit card on file.



Right to refuse service

The safety of myself and my clients is my top priority. As such, I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if I feel that they pose a health or safety risk. This includes but is not limited to lice, skin infections, open wounds, contagious illnesses (such as a new, continuous cough or a fever), or rude / obnoxious behavior.  For health and safety reasons please ensure pets and small children are supervised by a suitable adult for the duration of your appointment.

15 minute grace period

By booking with Divine Shine Beauty you agree and accept the booking policy, lateness policy and cancellation policy.



All appointments are very important to me. This is time I’ve set aside just for you and I don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity to receive services. Please understand that I’m committed to offering you the highest possible level of service during your appointments with me.



I want to make sure that all my clients have the opportunity to receive services. I understand that sometimes life is unpredictable, and so I allow for a 15 minute grace period for lateness in answering door or late arrival at agreed meeting point in venue in case you are unexpectedly delayed.


 If you think you are going to be late, please call me so that we can adjust our schedule, this may mean full treatments booked may not be able to be carried out.


 Please understand that if you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will be treated as a 'no show' you will be charged 100% of the service fee and require that you rebook your appointment if you still wish to receive services.

In the event that I need to cancel your appointment without giving 24-hour notice, I will provide you with 50% of your service amount for the missed appointment as a credit towards your next appointment. Adjustments are necessary sometimes due to unsafe weather conditions, power outages or other unforseen events and I’ll do my best to make sure that you don’t miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time soon. Please understand that I’ll try my best to make sure that I never need to cancel any appointment dates.

Please note this credit does not include instances of booking errors made by yourself, unfilled forms or lack of contact from you.

GDPR and Privacy policy

When booking an appointment there are certain details I need to take. Additionally, at each appointment I will need you to complete a client record. 

I only ask for the information I need for your treatments and services. I will always let you decide what you’re comfortable telling me, explain why I need it and treat it as confidential. Your information will be stored securely, no unauthorised person can access it and you have a right to request to see the information I hold. 

When I record and use your personal information I: 
• only access it when I have a good reason 
• only share what is necessary and relevant 
• don’t sell it to anyone 
At times I might use or share your information without your permission. If I do, I’ll always make sure there’s a legal basis for it. This could include situations where I have to use or share your information: 
• to comply with the law - for example, if a court orders me to share information. This is called ‘legal obligation’. 
• to protect someone’s life - for example, sharing information with a paramedic if a client was unwell at my salon. This is called ‘vital interests’. 
• to defend legal rights - for example, sharing information with my insurer in the case of a claim. 

I handle and store your personal information in line with the law - including the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. 
You’re welcome to ask what information I hold about you, any time you like. This information will be provided to you free of charge, unless your request is viewed as either excessive or unfounded. Where I refuse to respond to a request, I will explain our reasons to you and you will have the right to complain to the ICO to contest this. I may also charge a fee to comply with requests for further copies of the same information. 
I will ask you to confirm your identity before I administer your request. You can confirm your identity by sending me a copy of a suitable identity document such as a passport or driving license, plus proof of address. All information will be provided to you within 1 month of receiving the request and receipt of suitable identity documents.
